Well, I guess I don't
need TV but I like to watch certain shows including Heroes, So You Think You Can Dance, [adult swim], and others.
For those that don't know, a lot has happened in the last half year. I'll try keep this short. The dorms that my college kept us (myself, my roommates, my girlfriend, and everybody else that lived at the dorms) in caught on fire. The place was actually an apartment complex since my college (International Business College in Fort Wayne) is a small place and doesn't have it's own housing.
On January 23, I was awaken by a call from my girlfriend at 5:11 am to hear that her place is on fire.
[insert some stuff]. It was pretty crazy. I am blessed to say that she ended up being perfectly fine besides being shaken up, but I am sad to say that 3 girls died from smoke inhalation. With all of this, the school decided to move us to a different location. While finding the new place, they put us in a hotel for about 3 months or so. It was alright for a while. The nice part was free internet and cable. It's sad how much television I watched. Whatever I was doing, the tv was probably on.
[insert some more stuff]Kelli, aka my girlfriend, decided that we should move out, because the school was charging us way too much and the new location was going to 30 minutes from the school as opposed to 10 minutes. Yeah, not having that. So just this last Friday, we moved in a nice 3-bedroom townhouse with our buddy Austin who is in our class. Since we're on break from school for a couple months we have a lot more free time. With part of our free time we have devised a pretty sweet plan to enjoy the DVD
series...es (I don't know the plural for series. lol)
[Edit: Thanks to
echois23, I know that series is the plural spelling as well. Thanks! End Edit] I've bought a lot of DVDs the last few weeks and she owns some that we just haven't had the time to watch. So our plan goes like this:
- Supernatural Sundays
- How I Met You Mother Mondays
- Transformers (the original animated series) Tuesdays
- Wolf's Rain Wednesdays
- Arrested Development Thursdays
- Free Fridays
- X-men the animated series Saturdays
Oh yes, indeed. I am very excited for this. We start tonight as we get home. For the 21 minute shows, we'll watch 2 a day, and for Supernatural, just one. Fridays we may go see a movie, watch a movie at home or do nothing at all. That's why it's free.
Well, I know this was long, but it has been a while. I thought I'd update on what's going on in Phil Land.
Til next time, Peace&Love,
~Philly Phil

add LOST to that lineup and man, you're happier than a hang gliding hippo.
LOL sounds like you have it made... great friends and time to watch some shows. I have next to no free time at the moment but I am happy to read that someone out there does. Ya'll have a great time!
Oh, and by the way.... courtesy of dictionary.com = Usage Note: Series is both a singular and a plural form. When it has the singular sense of "one set," it takes a singular verb, even when series is followed by of and a plural noun: A series of lectures is scheduled. When it has the plural sense of "two or more sets," it takes a plural verb: Two series of lectures are scheduled: one for experts and one for laypeople
@echois23 - We've lost some of the free time but we're getting there slowly as far getting through the series. And thanks for looking that up. I think I'm going to go watch a series of series. .. woah. lol.
@NinjaxBroadcast - LOL nice word play.... enjoy!
Love Heroes and SYTYCD.
